ማዕበል የአብዮቱ ማግሥት

Maebel: Ye'Abiot Magist (ማዕበል የአብዮቱ ማግሥት — translated as "The Flood: The Day After the Revolution") is the third and final installment of Berhanu Zerihun's legendary historical trilogy. Following Ye'Abiot Wazema (The Eve) and Ye'Abiot Mebacha (The Dawn), this novel explores the turbulent aftermath of the 1974 Ethiopian Revolution. Written in his hallmark clear, crisp prose style, the book tracks the rapid restructuring of Ethiopian society under the military Derg regime. Through deeply realistic characters, it chronicles the social upheaval, ideological warfare, and human cost of transitioning from a feudal monarchy to a communist state.
